After an opulent supper and long conversations about Rock music´s influence on professional football vice versa, Jay, Roli, Andi and Boldi agreed on both the sharing out of the instruments (vocals & guitar; guitar & vocals; bass; and drums & vocals, in this order) and from now on rocking the world´s stages (or at least a part of them) together. And that is with entertaining pieces of music in the manner of their respective and common Heroes of Rock.
If one wanted to file The Sellout (as this collective likes to call itself after that memorable night) into a musically stylistic drawer – as unfortunately usual these days – that drawer would be one with a label saying something like „popular punkrock“ or so. But filing four grown up young men into a drawer would not just be a silly thing to do but also be connected to grievous bodily harm. And who would want that anyway.
What one could say objectively about their way of making music is that it starts with „1234“ and rocks till the last chord.
As Gordon Shumway would say: be there or be square.
See you soon at your favourite Rock theatre.
